Conditions

General conditions of supply

Each Sonica Eliche Navali supply contract is deemed to be concluded exclusively under the conditions set forth in this section. These conditions prevail over any other incompatible or conflicting agreements, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by SONICA snc. Any subsequent changes will be valid only if formally approved by the company.

  • Return of Goods

    Unless otherwise specified in the order confirmation, the goods covered by the supply contract are delivered FCA Rimini (Incoterms 2010). Risk and responsibility for transportation therefore begin from the moment of delivery to the carrier.

  • Delivery Terms

    Delivery times, indicated in the official order confirmation, are expressed in business days. These times are suspended in the event of force majeure, such as strikes, natural disasters, power outages, system failures, or other causes beyond the control of SONICA snc.


    If the goods are not collected or shipped on the scheduled dates for reasons attributable to the customer, SONICA snc reserves the right to charge storage costs.

  • Product Features

    The products supplied, as described in the order confirmation, may be defined and manufactured based on measurements, surveys, and technical data provided by the Customer. This information, as well as the methodology used to acquire it, directly influences the construction characteristics and final performance of the products.


    If the data provided by the Customer is incorrect or does not correspond to reality, the responsibility for the characteristics and performance of the products falls entirely on the Customer.

  • Product Warranty

    In accordance with current Italian legislation, SONICA snc guarantees that the products supplied are free from manufacturing defects, both in terms of the workmanship performed and the materials used.


    Any complaint or warranty claim must be submitted in writing and contain a detailed description of the defects found. The Customer must allow SONICA snc to examine the product deemed defective and, if necessary, perform non-destructive tests.

  • Shipping and Verification Costs

    Shipping costs for products for which warranty activation is requested, to the SONICA snc headquarters or another agreed-upon location, are the responsibility of the requesting party. Any travel by SONICA snc personnel necessary for product inspection will result in all related expenses being charged to the Customer.

  • Warranty Contents and Exclusions

    If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, SONICA snc will repair or replace the product at its own expense, as well as transport the repaired or replaced product to the place of origin of the defective product. Shipping costs incurred by the Customer for returning the product will also be reimbursed.


    The warranty does not apply if the defect arises from:


    • Improper use of the product;
    • Inadequate maintenance;
    • Unauthorized repairs;
    • Third-party interventions on the product.

    Any liability or compensation for direct or indirect damages, other than those expressly provided for in these conditions of supply, is expressly excluded.
